PWSA is governed by a Board of Directors and an Executive Board elected by the members. PWSA does not have a professional staff, relying on volunteer officers drawn from the Membership and Board of Directors.
There are on average four membership meetings per year. Guest speakers frequently address topics of interest or concern to members. Members participate without charge in PWSA sponsored master classes by acclaimed teachers and performing artists and in professional development seminars and workshops. Some PWSA events are open to the public for an admission fee. PWSA members also network through the PWSA internet forum which allows members to share information on singing careers.
